Fire Catamaran

Based on the highly successful 10 metre powercat Aquavette, this adaptation to a work boat provides an agile and stable fast response platform for up to 6 crew.

Additional to the propulsion driveline of twin 500 horsepower engines and water jets, the vessel can carry up to two engine driven water pumps of 1250GPM capacity and nominal 215 horsepower continuously rated engines to supply deck monitors and cockpit mounted hose reels. A nominal 6kW generator can supply power to high demand services such as air conditioning.

The open plan wheelhouse provides excellent all round vision, and includes access to a large forward storage compartment and a head with shower.

Cockpit deck layouts are flexible, with options for on deck storage of oil spill and rescue equipment, or an open transom with gantry for use in securing debris and persons from the water.  The cockpit also makes use of large lower wet deck areas over each demi hull for access to the water.
