A qualified boat builder after a four year apprenticeship, Brad joined LOMOcean Design in a design and draughting role. Continuing his education with a correspondence course Diploma in Boat Design from the Westlawn Institute of Marine Technology in Connecticut, USA, Brad brings a blend of practical and theoretical knowledge to his work.
Tim Patrick - Dip Mar Tech
One of our senior designers, Tim joined LOMOcean in late 2002 after graduating with top honours in marine design at Auckland's Unitec Institue of Technology. Tim is a talented designer, with his lifelong passion for boating giving him a technical eye and an appreciation for real world practicalities. In addition to design and draughting support, Tim's role extends into project management.
Keith Torckler - BDes (Hons)
Keith joined the LOMOcean Design team in late 2012 with an honours degree from Massey University's School of Design. As a sailing and boating enthusiast with an eye for detail, Keith offers a practical understanding in his design and draughting role.
James Flett – BE (Hons), MEng (Hons)
With several years of experience in the superyacht building industry, James joined LOMOcean Design as a structural engineer in 2014. A qualified mechanical engineer, James also holds a master’s degree from The Yacht Research Unit at The University of Auckland.
Mark Marshall - Dip Mar Tech
Mark Joined LOMOcean in mid 2014, having studied Marine Design at Unitec. Mark brings a variety of experiences to his design and draughting role having previously worked in the Boat building and Architectural design industries.
Rhys Witt - BE (Naval Architecture)
A passion for boating and design led Rhys to complete a Bachelor of Engineering (Naval Architecture) at the Australian Maritime College. Rhys joined the team in 2014 in an engineering and design capacity, bringing on-water experience through offshore yacht racing, to his role.
Jeffrey Roberts – BE (Naval Architecture)
Jeffrey joined the team late in 2014 as a recent naval architect graduate from the Australian Maritime College. Also eager about boating, Jeffrey provides support to the senior designers in an engineering and design capacity.
